Teen Mental Health Treatment
Teen mental health treatment at Elevate is designed to support adolescents struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, and emotional challenges during critical developmental years. Through evidence-based therapy, individualized care plans, and family involvement, teens receive the tools they need to build resilience and improve emotional regulation.

Day Treatment
A day treatment program, also referred to as a partial hospitalization program (PHP) by insurance providers, offers several hours of treatment five days a week. Outside of treatment, you’ll be free to live at home and enjoy daily life.

Outpatient Treatment
An outpatient program provides a few hours of treatment three or four days a week. This program is more flexible than day treatment, and the sessions are in the morning or evening, so you can work or attend school outside of the program.

Afterschool Program
An afterschool program makes it easy for teens to get the help they need. By focusing on treatment after school ends, we make it easier for our clients to avoid scheduling conflicts and maintain their normal participation with classes and friends.

Telehealth Virtual Rehab
Virtual treatment options, also known as telehealth services, make it easy to keep up with your treatment if you need to travel or have transportation issues. A virtual program allows you to get mental health treatment regardless of where you live.

Mental Health and Substance Use Support That Meets You Where You Are
Whether you’re facing anxiety, navigating substance use challenges, or simply not feeling like yourself, our licensed clinicians are experienced in treating a wide range of conditions. We work with teens, young adults, and older adults who are experiencing mental health concerns, mental health disorders, and addictions to drugs, alcohol, and more. Our care is evidence-based, incorporating CBT, DBT, trauma-informed therapy, and mindfulness practices. Every session is personalized to align with your goals and move at your own pace. No judgment. No one-size-fits-all solutions. Just a safe, compassionate space to explore what you’re going through and build practical tools that lead to real, lasting change.

The good news is that you’re not alone. At Elevate, we provide grief counseling and support for the trauma of loss so that you can eventually find hope and feel joy again.
ANGER MANAGEMENT
Many people feel angry at times, but if extreme anger threatens to overwhelm you or you get angry regularly, you may benefit from anger management counseling and treatment. Recognizing your anger triggers is the first step, and then you can learn healthy ways of coping and responding to your emotions. You’re not powerless — with the right help, you can break free from extreme anger.
ADD/ADHD
If you have ADD or ADHD, your brain simply works differently than other people’s. These disorders affect executive function, which impacts many areas of life, such as working memory, task initiation, sustained attention, flexibility in the face of change, time management, organization, and planning or prioritizing tasks. Fortunately, there are medications, strategies, and tools to help you improve executive function. At Elevate, we can help you identify where you struggle and take action to improve your daily life.
DEPRESSION
Depression is more than feeling sad. It’s an ongoing low mood that impacts every area of life. There are several different types of depression, but they are all treatable with effective psychotherapy and medication. If you have lost interest in things you once enjoyed or feel sad and hopeless, the team at Elevate can give you the support you need.
BIPOLAR DISORDER
If you have periods of extreme activity, energy, or irritability, and even reckless behavior, you may have bipolar disorder. This disorder often includes periods of depressed moods and loss of interest in your usual activities as well. Our team at Elevate can provide you with a personalized treatment plan that includes talk therapy, medications, and other treatment options you need to manage this condition.
OBSESSIVE COMPULSIVE DISORDER
Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) is a debilitating condition that causes a lot of mental distress. It involves unwanted, repeated thoughts called “obsessions” that cause extreme anxiety and compulsive actions that you take to temporarily relieve the stress. You’re not alone. At Elevate Recovery, we provide treatment that will help you break the OCD cycle and reclaim your life.
PANIC DISORDERS
Panic disorder involves repeated panic attacks — sudden episodes of intense fear that have no known cause. You may feel short of breath or have chest pain and fear you’re having a heart attack or dying. With panic disorder, these panic attacks significantly disrupt your life, and you live in constant fear of them. Our specialists can provide you with effective talk therapy as well as medication and tested relaxation strategies so you can finally break free of fear and live with confidence.
STRESS MANAGEMENT
Under normal circumstances, stress is a normal part of adjusting to new situations. But if you have chronic stress without relief, it can lead to significant health challenges. Getting stress management treatment can help prevent that from happening. The Elevate team can provide counseling, problem-solving strategies, and healthy coping strategies to help you better manage stress.
POSTPARTUM DEPRESSION
Having a new baby is expected to be a joyful time, but for many women, it’s anything but. Postpartum depression can cause mood swings, frequent crying, anxiety, and fatigue. Fortunately, the team at Elevate Recovery can provide effective treatment, including counseling and medication. Don’t struggle through this alone. Reach out for help today.
SCHIZOPHRENIA DISORDER
Schizophrenia is a mental health condition that disrupts the brain’s normal function. It causes delusions, hallucinations, disorganized speech and movements, and a loss of expression or motivation. The professionals at our treatment center provide evidence-based therapy along with medication and education on helpful lifestyle changes to help you manage symptoms and live a healthy, productive life.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What levels of care are available for mental health treatment?
Mental health treatment is offered across several levels of care depending on each patient’s needs. Residential treatment and inpatient rehab provide 24-hour support for individuals experiencing severe symptoms, including those with dual diagnosis, when mental health conditions like depression occur alongside substance use involving drugs or alcohol.
For those who don’t require 24-hour care, outpatient services offer a more flexible option. These programs allow patients to attend therapy and support groups while continuing to live at home, making it easier to balance treatment with daily responsibilities. Accredited providers, including those like Elevate Recovery, recognized by the Joint Commission, help ensure that patients receive high-quality care at every stage. In many cases, individual, group, and family therapy are also integrated to support the healing of both the individual and their loved ones.
While we collaborate closely with the Massachusetts Department of Mental Health and the broader recovery community, we also help clients access higher levels of care through trusted partnerships with detox centers, inpatient rehab facilities, residential treatment centers, sober living programs, and intensive outpatient programs. Through group support, individualized care, and a strong sense of community, we guide each person toward lasting healing and recovery.
How do I access care if I think I need help now?
If you’re struggling with mental health or addiction, the first step is reaching out. Our team can guide you through the admissions process, answer questions about available levels of care, and help you determine if residential, inpatient, or outpatient treatment is right for you. We also work with trusted partners to ensure patients have access to detox, rehab, and sober living programs if needed. Recovery starts with a conversation and we’re here when you’re ready.
What is dual diagnosis treatment and how do I know if I need it?
Dual diagnosis treatment is designed for patients experiencing both a mental health condition, such as anxiety, and a substance use disorder involving alcohol or drugs. This type of care combines mental health services with addiction treatment to address both issues at the same time. Many individuals in need of dual diagnosis care have tried addiction treatment before but continue to struggle due to untreated mental health symptoms.
Addiction treatment within a dual diagnosis program typically includes individual therapy, psychiatric support, and medication management, along with services focused on recovery from alcohol and drug use. You may need this level of care if your symptoms return after traditional rehab or if your addiction is closely tied to mental health issues like anxiety, trauma, or depressive disorders.
Dual diagnosis services are available across levels of care, including a higher level of rehab like inpatient rehab and residential care and lower levels of rehab including intensive outpatient programs, and community-based addiction treatment settings. Effective dual diagnosis treatment is grounded in evidence-based addiction treatment and mental health practices that are adapted to meet the needs of each patient. Access to ongoing addiction treatment is important to building long-term recovery and maintaining progress after completing an addiction or mental health treatment program.
Are your programs covered by insurance or private pay only?
At our rehab, we accept most major insurance plans and also offer private pay options. Coverage for mental health and addiction treatment varies depending on your provider and specific plan, but our admissions team can help verify your benefits and explain what recovery services are included. Whether you’re seeking addiction treatment for drugs, alcohol, or co-occurring conditions, we’ll help you understand your options and access the level of care (whether detox, inpatient rehab, outpatient treatment and so forth) that’s right for you.
